How GLO handles your information.
Plain language, no legalese. Last updated 2026-09-29.
Who we are
GLO is a Montréal, Québec company that builds and runs GLO OS for trade and home-service businesses. This policy covers the website at getglo.ca and the information you give us when you contact us or book a call. Client data inside GLO OS itself is covered by the agreement each client signs.
Questions or requests about your information go to admin@getglo.ca.
What we collect on this site
Contact and booking details you type in: name, email, phone number, company, and anything you write in a message or booking note. Booking requests are created through our own booking form and stored in our scheduling account.
Visitor analytics, only if you click Accept in the cookie banner: PostHog records which pages and sections you view, what you click, and a replay of your visit with anything you type into forms masked; Google Analytics records the pages you visit, how you got here, roughly where you are and what you click, using cookies; Leadsy may match your visit to a business or contact profile using cookies and your IP address, which we use to follow up with businesses that appear interested. If you click Decline, none of them load.
Server logs: our hosting provider (Vercel) records standard request data such as IP address, browser, pages viewed, and timestamps for security and performance.
Why we use it
To reply to you, book and run the call you asked for, and, if you become a client, set up your system.
To understand how the site is used and which businesses are interested in GLO OS.
To keep the site secure and running.
We do not sell your information. We do not use it to train AI models outside your own account.
Who we share it with
Service providers that run parts of the site for us: Vercel (hosting), our scheduling provider (booking calendar), our email provider (transactional email), PostHog and Google Analytics (site analytics) and Leadsy (visitor identification). Each only receives what it needs to do its job. Some of these providers process data outside Québec and Canada.
Nobody else, unless the law requires it or you ask us to.
How long we keep it
Contact and booking records: as long as we are in a conversation with you or you are a client, and for up to three years after, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
Analytics and server logs: per the retention set by the provider, typically under two years.
Your rights
Under Canada’s PIPEDA and Québec’s Law 25 you can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, withdraw consent, or ask us to delete it. Email us and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec.
Cookies
We set one necessary cookie, glo_consent, to remember your cookie choice for 12 months, and the booking calendar may use cookies to work. Analytics and visitor-identification cookies are set only after you click Accept. You can change your choice any time with "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page.
Changes
We will update this page when our practices change and note the date at the top. Last updated 2026-09-29.
