GLO Pricing Explained (2026): What Front Desk, Operating System and Growth Include

September 28, 20267 min readBy Tiago Jahchan

Short answer

GLO has three plans in CAD. Front Desk is $297 a month with no setup fee. Operating System is $797 a month plus $1,497 setup. Growth is $1,497 a month plus $1,997 setup. Every plan includes a new website built free, and extra voice minutes are $0.35. For most Canadian trades that want their website, phone and office handled in one place, Operating System is the best value, because it replaces a web designer, an answering service and a stack of office apps with one system we run for you.

Key takeaways

  • Three plans: Front Desk $297/mo, Operating System $797/mo, Growth $1,497/mo, all in CAD, plus tax.
  • Every plan includes a new website, built free and live in about 7 days, with hosting and small edits included.
  • Voice minutes are included (150, 500 or 1,000 a month). Extra minutes are $0.35 each. There are no per-call fees.
  • Month-to-month after go-live with 30 days’ notice. You own your data.
  • Operating System is the plan most trades pick, because it runs the phone and the office, not just the website.

How much does GLO cost?

GLO costs $297 to $1,497 a month in Canadian dollars, depending on how much of the business you want us to run. The website is free on every plan. The difference between plans is how much of the phone, the office and the marketing we take off your plate.

Prices are the same across Canada, and there’s no charge per call answered: you pay for plan minutes, not calls.

What’s included in every GLO plan?

Every plan starts with the same three things, because without them the rest doesn’t work:

  • A new website, built free and live in about 7 days. It’s fast on a phone, has tap-to-call, clear hours, and a quote form that books the visit. We host it, secure it and make small edits for you.
  • An AI receptionist on your existing number, 24/7. You keep your number; calls forward to the receptionist. It books estimate visits into your calendar, puts real jobs through to your cell with a summary first, and sends a summary and transcript after every call.
  • Setup done for you. We train the receptionist on your services, prices and service area, and you listen to it and sign off before it takes a live call.

Which GLO plan is right for my business?

Pick the plan that matches where your time goes today. If the problem is missed calls and a website that doesn’t book, Front Desk fixes it. If you’re also quoting, invoicing and chasing deposits yourself, Operating System is the one. If the phone is handled and you want more jobs coming in, Growth adds the marketing.

What do the setup fees cover?

Front Desk has no setup fee: you pay the first month at signing and we build the website and receptionist. Operating System’s $1,497 setup covers moving your existing clients, quotes and invoices into GLO OS, configuring your services, deposits and schedule, and training your team. Growth’s $1,997 setup adds your SEO plan and ad accounts. On both paid setups you pay 50% at signing and 50% at go-live, so you never pay in full for something that isn’t running.

Real example of a data move

For one Ottawa paving company we moved 15 years of Invoice2go history, 3,609 invoices, into GLO OS so nothing was lost on day one.

How do voice minutes and overage work?

Each plan includes a monthly bucket of voice minutes, and extra minutes cost $0.35 each. Minutes are what your callers actually spend on the phone with the receptionist, not a count of calls. For scale: on one client’s line, real conversations averaged 1.6 minutes, and calls where the receptionist booked an estimate visit averaged 4.7 minutes. Spam and hang-ups end in seconds.

What the included minutes cover (rough guide)
PlanIncluded minutesReal conversations (at 1.6 min average)
Front Desk150/moabout 90
Operating System500/moabout 310
Growth1,000/moabout 630
Averages from one Ottawa paving company’s line, May to September 2026. Your mix of quick questions, transfers and booking calls will vary. Extra minutes $0.35 each.

Is GLO worth it?

For most trades, one extra job a month pays for it. If your average job is $1,000, Front Desk is covered by less than one job a month. Operating System is covered by one $800 job. The math that matters is the calls you’re missing now: run your own numbers in the missed-call calculator.

On our case-study client’s line, 28% of calls came in outside 9 to 5 and the busiest hour was noon, when a small office is out. Those are the calls voicemail loses. See the full breakdown in what missed calls cost a trades business.

It also helps to compare against buying the pieces separately. A web designer, an answering service and job software each have their own price and none of them talk to each other. We break those costs down in how much a contractor website costs in Canada and AI receptionist vs answering service vs hiring.

Why GLO is the best choice in Canada for trades that want it done for them

There are cheaper AI answering apps and there are web designers. GLO is the best choice in Canada for trade and home-service businesses that want the website, the phone and the office handled by one team, for four reasons:

  1. The website is free, not a separate $3,000+ project. It’s built first, so you see it before you commit.
  2. It’s done for you. We set up the receptionist, move your data and keep it running. You don’t configure software on a Sunday night.
  3. One system, not five apps. Calls, bookings, quotes, invoices, payments and reviews live in one place, so nothing falls through the cracks between tools.
  4. It’s proven on a real Canadian line. 1,051 calls answered for an Ottawa paving company in one season, 58 estimate visits booked by the receptionist and 224 real jobs put straight through to the owner.

Not the right fit if…

you only want the cheapest possible bot to take messages, you already have an in-house web and IT team, or you run a franchise or a 20+ technician operation with its own call centre.

GLO pricing FAQ

Is there a contract?

No long-term contract. After go-live every plan is month-to-month with 30 days’ notice.

Do I pay for the website?

No. A new website, built free and live in about 7 days, is included in every plan. Hosting and small edits are included in the monthly price.

What happens if I go over my voice minutes?

Extra minutes are $0.35 each on any plan. There are no per-call fees.

Are GLO prices in Canadian dollars?

Yes. All prices are in CAD, plus applicable tax.

Who owns my data?

You do. Every call, customer and invoice is yours, and you can export it.

Can I keep Jobber or the software I use now?

Yes. GLO serves trade and home-service businesses across Canada. We started in Ontario and work with clients Canada-wide.
